
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY (OT)
OT is the treatment and rehabilitation of people with physical and mental health conditions, through specific selected activities, for the purpose of enabling individuals who are temporarily or permanently disabled to reach their maximum level of function and independent in all aspects of life. There are 525 Occupational Therapists working within the HPSS in Northern Ireland.
