There are four Consultant ante-natal clinics per week and each

Consultant also has a community clinic in either Kilkeel, Banbridge, Crossmaglen and Armagh. A normality scanning service is also offered.

Maternity ward

A 27 bedded ward caring for ante-natal and post-natal mothers.

Special Care Baby Unit

Sr H McAleavey

This is a unit with six cots and is designated to deal with all ill

babies under the Special Care criteria.

Delivery Suite

Sr B Fearon

Consists of six delivery rooms and an ensuite obstetric theatre. There are approximately 1800 deliveries per annum.

Community Midwives

As a combined trust we have the advantage of midwives working throughout the integrated service. A system of team midwifery has been developed to support midwifery led care, dominos and home confinements.
