The group is open to parents from across the Southern Health and Social Care Trust area. The first meeting will take place on Monday 9th June at the Classroom, Daisy Hill Hospital from 7.15pm. Tracy Kenny, Specialist Drugs and Alcohol Worker for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service said: “This group is a chance for parents to increase their knowledge of drug and alcohol related issues, develop new skills and find support from other parents. We urge parents experiencing problems around their child's drug or alcohol misuse to get in touch with us as soon as possible.” For further information or to register to attend the meeting Tel: 028 3839 2112. |
