
Young Women's Group
The Young Women's Group was established in May 1998. It reflected our commitment to develop innovative and professional services for young women. The group was created to meet the needs of young women in the community.


AIM OF THE GROUP
To offer young women an opportunity to meet and discuss a range of topics important to them, to make choices/decisions in their relationships, lives etc., increase confidence, make friends and have fun.
OBJECTIVES
- To provide a warm relaxed friendly atmosphere for young women to meet
- To promote learning through discussion about personal experiences
- To help young women accept themselves and encourage them to explore their own values and standards
- To create opportunities through physical activity
- To relax, have fun and enjoy the company of friends
INTERESTED ? How can we help?
- By providing a ten-week evening programme for 13 - 16 year olds
- Activities -ice-skating etc
