Supported Living aims to provide a safe, caring and supportive environment and support tenants through a Person Centred Approach, taking into account individuality and promote social inclusion.

A typical example is Bowens Close, which is situated approx two miles from Lurgan town centre, offers accommodation to six adults with varying degrees of learning disability. The scheme is made up of two dorma bungalows, which are rented from Ulidia Housing Association. One house has 24hr staff presence that will offer support and guidance to the tenants in the second house. Bowens Close aims to provide everyday experiences, opportunities and choice to support and enable individuals to live ordinary lives based on their assessed individual need.
