RESPITE CAREIf you need a break from caring, please ask your Social Worker or Community Nurse about available respite services. Respite care could mean having a break for a few hours whereby someone would come to your home and take over the care you provide for a short time or it could be one to two weeks residential or nursing care provided at intervals to give the carer a regular, planned break. Day Care can also be provided as respite one or more days per week according to assessed individual need. |
