Lisanally Resource Centre

Lisanally Resource Centre

Introduction

The Day Centre opens five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm.

The Centre provides 25 places every day apart from Friday when the Centre accommodates 10 places for E.M.I. clients.

How do you get referred?

Clients are referred to Lisanally Resource Centre by either the Social Worker or Care Manager responsible for their package of care in the community.

At the Centre

The Centre will complete an assessment of the clients needs, including for example social history, illnesses or disabilities, hobbies, interests, likes and dislikes, so that the client can be provided with the best service to meet their needs.

When the assessment is complete, the Centre will devise an individual programme of care for the client. The Centre values input from the client and their carer to achieve this.

Meals

Meals are available within the centre with a varied choice each day.

Tea or coffee with scones are provided on arrival. Staff and clients also use this time to register. A cup of tea is also provided before departure. The cost of meals is £1.20 each day. This cost is reviewed annually.

Transport

Clients prefer to travel to the Centre with family members, their own carers or voluntary drivers. The Trust provides transport where clients have no other means available.
