Opportunity to have your say about Southern Trust Services
01/04/2014Would you like to get involved in improving the planning, development and delivery of services in the Southern Health and Social Care Trust?
If so, the Trust and it’s Personal and Public Involvement (PPI) Panel, made up of service users and carers, invites you to come along to a PPI Information Day on Wednesday 16 April 2014 from 10am to 1pm in the Seagoe Parish Centre, 46 Seagoe Road, Portadown, Co. Armagh BT63 5HW. This event is funded by the Public Health Agency through the regional PPI Forum.
PPI is how patients, client’s, carers and the general public can have their say about care and treatment and the way services are planned and delivered. It is about giving people the opportunity to help doctors, nurses, social workers and other health and social care professionals to develop and evaluate health and social care services.
PPI Panel members will explain what PPI means to them, what the PPI Panel does and share their experiences of being involved. The Trust will provide information on how you can become involved. It will demonstrate the work that is currently taking place in the Trust and will highlight opportunities available for involvement within the various service areas.
For more information on PPI please check out the Trust’s website www.southerntrust.hscni.net - ‘Involving You’ Section.
