New Child Minders for Craigavon and Banbridge

21 new child minders from the Craigavon and Banbridge areas have completed their pre registration course with the Southern Health and Social Care Trust.

The course is organised by Early Years Social Workers for newly registered child minders or those in the process of registering.

Topics covered in the training included child protection, oral hygiene and healthy eating along with a session from a health visitor and input from the Northern Ireland Child Minding Association.

All who took part in the training thought it was interesting and informative as well offering the chance to build contacts with other childminders from their areas.
